Behere

What is Behere?

Behere is a platform for remote workers founded in 2016 by Thomas Maher and Meesen Brown to provide remote workers with travel, accommodation, and work resources to support their flexible way of living.

Both founders lived the digital nomad lifestyle for years, finding that existing platforms didn’t offer a reliable way to maintain productivity while having an authentic experience and a place to call home far from home.

Behere was born as a solution to this problem. The platform offers a way to search and book verified apartments, workspaces, and fitness studios catering to the needs of remote workers around the world.

Not only does the platform provide you with vetted spaces in central locations and easy booking, but it also supports you every step of the way, including on the ground support to make your new city feel like a new home.

This support is great if you are looking for a particular space or have specific needs in mind, as you can just contact Behere’s experts to get assistance finding what you are looking for.

What makes Behere different from other booking platforms is that it is specially designed for remote workers to keep their productivity up while traveling, making sure your new space fulfills all the requirements this entails and allowing you to live more like a local while connecting with the community.

If you are not a fan of having your trip itineraries and activities set for you, but would still appreciate the support and quality a curated repertoire can provide, Behere might be the right platform for you.

How Does Behere Work?

The way Behere works is pretty straightforward: explore locations, request your selections, book them, and start packing.

The platform will allow you to search for short-term apartments, creative coworking spaces, and fitness studios by city, all verified and filtered by the Behere team. You just need to decide what your needs and wants are, use the platform’s search function, and fall in love with your new home.

Once you have found that perfect fit for you, you can request the booking of the space for a minimum of 30 days. You will get more information about your local host and they will be notified about your booking request.

If the request is confirmed, you just need to pay for the booking and start packing!

If you are in need of any assistance before your trip, you can contact Behere’s team or talk to your new host to get the help you need.

Behere also offers a membership for frequent travelers, allowing you to receive unlimited access to all active locations around the world without incurring any service fees for an entire year.

If you are planning on traveling with a partner or a pet, you can use the platform’s filtering options to find a place that allows you to use the services together, as this depends entirely on the space you are renting.

If you are new to the digital nomad lifestyle or just considering transitioning to it, Behere will also provide you with resources to achieve your goals with information ranging from how to pitch the idea to your employer to tools for working remotely.

How Long is Behere?

As Behere is not a program but a platform intended to facilitate your remote working, there is no specified duration for its services.

However, when renting an apartment you will be required to book a minimum of 30 nights. If you require a refund, different conditions will apply depending on the host, but you should request it at least 30 days before arrival or your booking won’t be refundable.
